Time Travel, Waterfalls and Eyeglass Assist. Exploring Taveuni EP27

We join an organised land tour and have a fun day out exploring Taveuni. We go back and forwards in time at the International Date Line and have a wet and wild time at the Tavoro Falls in the Bouma National Heritage Park . There’s even a beer drinking contest on the very bumpy road back to the resort.

We say a very sad  ‘See you later’ to our friends and fellow divers , Matt, Jason and Kimberley .

Jo gets invited by Karen from  SV ‘ Interlude’, to help out with a local ‘Eyeglass Assist’ session. This is an extremely worthy cause, in conjunction with the Lions Club of Australia and Paul and Frances Tudor- Stack of SV ‘Monkey Fist.’  They help distribute  reading glasses to remote villages.  You can find out more about their work here:

Then it’s time to wave goodbye to Taveuni and the beautiful Paradise Taveuni Resort and head further south towards the mainland . Giant clams and turtle tagging are in our future
